Sebuh Haileleul is the General Manager for Microsoft in East and Southern Africa (ESA) covering 8 Countries; Botswana, Ethiopia, Namibia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. His key focus is to steer the business to the next phase of expansion through commercial and government engagements while building and growing a high performing team.
Prior to his appointment to this role in 2015 Sebuh was the Enterprise Services Director for Microsoft West, East and Central Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, where he led and managed the service delivery function for forty-eight (48) countries within the region including Service Sales, Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and Premier Support Business.
He held this role since November 2010, and has over 18 years of progressive experience in supporting, implementing, managing and deploying rapidly changing system technologies, for diverse projects. At Microsoft, Sebuh previously served as Program Manager and Engagement Manager for Federal and Mid-Atlantic practice, overseeing all projects for FAST and ensuring engagements are on schedule and on budget while meet and exceed customer expectations.
Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked as a Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager at Number Six Software. Other industry experience includes serving as Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager and IT Business Analyst/Project Manager at National Institute of Health/ CPS in Bethesda and ICMARC in Washington.
Sebuh is originally from Ethiopia, grew up in Tanzania and Kenya and a graduate of the University of Arkansas, and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from John Hopkins University – Baltimore USA.
